Its back.

Today we went to Duke.  The news sucked. The area of concern has grown which means it is cancer growth, so we have to switch up our plan of attack a little bit. As if that news wasn’t hard enough to take, we were also told it is in a more difficult spot, so going in and removing it is not an option.  We have known all along that this type of cancer is very aggressive and difficult to treat.  Mike was taken off of the clinical trial and a new treatment will be started next week.  He will be on a more aggressive chemo for 21 days at a time with a 7 day break in between. They will continue Avastin. At the end of August he will have another MRI to see if this treatment is working. If not, the doctor at Duke already has a plan B of another type of chemo.

I have been following your blog for awhile now and just want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We have never met, but I can honestly say I know how you feel and what you are going through. It is so hard. I hope you find peace and comfort and know that there are people out there hoping the best for you. ~Heather

ICT-107 recurrent glioblastoma trial from Immunocellular Therapeutics could be helpful.
Very promising so far. It could be your cure. I think they are enrolling patients or will be soon.
I will pray for you and your family. May God be with you.
