I don’t feel like I have much to write about tonight but I did want to post a quick update.  Mike is on track to start the next phase of treatment on August 27th.  He will undergo 42 days of chemo and radiation as we expected, and we are very thankful that we found great doctors locally that are willing to work with the Duke doctors for the clinical trial so we don’t have to travel as often.

Thanks for the continued prayers.  We are thankful for no negative news – the MRI scans are still showing no new tumors.  I’m still believing for miracles.

Its not that we are naive to the illness.  We know this is a life threatening disease.  Its just that we believe the report of the Lord – and we honestly believe that the report of the Lord is healing.  There are blessings in every situation so my prayer is that I can stay positive and see the blessings daily.  They are there.  🙂

We were able to spend quite a bit of time at the pool with the kids while we were in NC for his appointments on Monday and Tuesday.
