No One Fights Alone

“No One Fights Alone”

This is a term that is new to me…but it brings encouragement.  Its a reminder that we aren’t the only people going through this.  It is also a reminder that we have friends, family, and co-workers that are standing with us in this fight.  It is a reminder that there are people who work diligently on raising money and researching to try to find a cure.

There are a lot of things that are new to me…pathology reports, medical terms, insurance issues, asking for help, the peace of God that passes all understanding – and having to seek that peace moment to moment because its so easy to get distracted and lose it.  The “color” for brain cancer is grey.   I had seen pink ribbons for breast cancer, yellow ribbons for “Support Our Troops,” but I never realized the grey ribbon is for brain cancer awareness.
